Does anyone know what Degree the rear hubs on a KM 002 are out of the box. I want to get a set of Hostile one-peice rear hubs, but i don't know what degree to get. What is the most common for KM buggies? :o

Just found a previous thread on this. Does 3 degrees sound about right ? Also lightweight version or big bore version??? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

well the km's i got,the stock plastics came 2 Degree, on the other it had alloy those where 1 degree, i believe the 2 degree is the most recommended

2 degree is the standard for trucks, the buggies sometimes come with 3 cuz most folks will run a truck on dirt gravel grass, etc, where some buggy runners like looser stuff like sand. the 2 degree will do great for hard surface, dirt grass, etc.. and the 3 degree is mainly to help tracking on looser terrain as in sand.

i eventually did get the hostile heim ends for mine too cuz with stockers turned sidways to fit the hostile hub top, just looked like a possible point of failure. the hostile heims are strate flat , and with spacers inseted center the heim ball joints on hubs.

don't know what you meant by the bore thing. motor size don't make a difference on the degree toe

The bearings are bigger thus " BIG BORE" thats DDMs description. I just thought you might have some knowlege about these as i am still learning.

MY MISTAKE I GOT IT WRONG its a big bearing version. Benn looking at engines all day. sorry if i confused you. cause i know i confused myself:(

lol if i remember right the hostile ends do have a slightly larger bearing than the stocker does, been awhile since i swapped them out but i think they are a tad larger, at any rate tho, the hostiles look like a better bearing at least.
