eco-line to sportsline

as far as swapping it over to a full sportsline, i wouldnt bother. i don't think it would be worth what your putting into it to do the conversion. however changing select things to improve the cars performance isnt a bad idea. im not sure about your car, but i know some of the ecos had the mono shock in the front and non adjustable upper control arms, changing those over to sportsline wouldnt be a bad idea. not sure on the motor, but if you have a solo thats getting tired going to a zenoah would wake it up.

select things are the best way to get some more life out of it. if you want a sportsline, sell what you have and buy a new sportsline. nothing like a new car.

just some additional info, I picked it up abit ago as a project. I didn't know what brand 5th scale it was(due to the mono shock) so I started looking around the web and found that it's an eco-line that came w/ a red chassis but it also has ajustable front a-arms(like the sportline), alum. uprights(on all four corners) cable tunning brakes (also on all four corners) and a 2 speed. so i was thinking to just change the mono shock to the duel shock set-up and getting the comp. sportline chassis from rc-car-online just wasn't sure if it would all swap over to that chassis or even fit.......... what do you think?
 
ive found most fg stuff will interchange with some minor modifications. the sportsline race chassis should fit, but again, minor modding. ive built my mish mash of fg/duratrax/carson onroad into pretty much an evo, but a lot of trimming, filing and drilling along the way
