What is it with people..

Logged on today only to find page after page of Intro threads being brought back to life by people just wanting to get there count up...

You know who you are, some of the Intro posts were 2 to 3 "F"ing years old for gods sake...took me ages to sieve through them to find the genuine threads...some people might need help with Mods or advice on what to buy or not buy and finding these threads is slowed right down due to all the spamming...

Is it just me or do other people think they are muppets...

Agree mate there's even a thread of how to clean your car in the intro page although I'm only new and its took me until now to click on but this guy just posts anywhere ! I've tryed to help but I don't think he understands !
I know how you feel because I was going to ask admin to clear my replys off the "secret of engine tuning page " as it has got fully blocked up with posts that are not relevant to the thread but I will just not reply now unless the questions are in the correct section , ! I was gonna pull my hair out when I seen the kill switch post but then I just laughed and calmed my nerves by ripping my engine out of my spider to give me something to do !

I thought that yesterday also, i haven't logged in here for since the early part of this year. haven't had my MT out since summer 2011 due to other commitments. Thought id give my self some refreshing advice and sift through thre threads, logged in yesterday to a few pages of intros, and logged straight back out again !! :(
 
Basically, none of us like to log on and find 'dark blobs' indicating a new entry, and then finding it's somebody resurrecting a 5 year old thread.

I always like to leave the Forum 'up to date'.

In some of the technical sections, indeed all except Introductions, it may have some relevance.

Somebody clicking on the 3rd page of Intros, finding a thread started 4 years ago, then replying is a tad, erm, naff. I agree.

Worry not, those posts have been noticed and removed.

While I know not everyone visits every day, while others do, it still doesn't mean that someone needs to bump a thread that's months or years old just for the sake of it.
