Curious to know if anyone is using a safety/kill switch? I am using a Spektrum DX3C radio, if the vehicle were to go out of range, I hope it will go to fail safe. But, what if the vehicle was stuck in wide open throttle.
Any thoughts or who is using wheat with feedback.

Thanks

Spekky has a built-in failsafe.
This relies on the Rx battery having power and IS NOT the same as kill switch.
Set this on full brakes, and some like some steering lock - your call. If/when radio contact is lost, it will slam on the anchors and steer your desired direction.

REMOTE KILL SWITCH will NOT set the brakes but depending on how you've set it up will kill the engine.
Mine is set up on the Auxiliary channel. I can simply drive it where I want, then cut the engine on the Auxiliary, or, if there are problems, I can switch OFF the Tx; this will set the remote kill switch off to kill the motor AND the failsafe to slam on the anchors.

Favourite is KillerBee SUPERBEE.
