Sup guys,

Got my XB 10 months ago, try and Made it hard basher (I hope so)

Upgrade parts installed on Car:

-Aluminum C-hubs
-Al. front and rear bearing holders
-Al. cage
-Al. shock towers
-Al. gear housing
-Al. Steering rocker
-Universal Dogbones
-Green type Boca Bearings
-CPI Rear pipe (very loud)
-Triple protection Air Filter
-MT Resi Shocks with 40Wt shock oil
-Wt-998 carb
-4x Rear Trenchers
-Savox SV 0236 MG HV steering servo
-HITEC HV 7954 Throttle servo
-M11X Sanwa Transmitter with Killer RC kill switch
-DGI Steering links
-DGI rear upper links
-4x FLM hardened CVDs
-7075RC front and rear Diff housing
-8000 rpm HPI clutch house and spring
-Lightened Flywheel
-Double mesh Fuel Filter, Fuel lines, snappy tank vent
-Killer RC 7.4 V 7200 Mah battery with splitter (lessens the load on the M11x Receiver)
-DDM Receiver Signal Filter (for better response)
-Killer RC Super Stainless steel pull start (already installed)
-7075RC Black anodized Non Flex Chassis

The only missing Upgrades are the Front and Rear Lower Suspension Arms. since the car is tough now, the plastic arms are wobbling since they're being the weak spot.
gona install them from 7075RC when they are available

overall money spend on this (including shipping +customs) around 5500$
I live in Lebanon and customs here suck

Performance of car is good. But I should have gotten a Losi 5ive instead, with that money spent on it, it would have been freakingly rigged

Not bad looking. Have you had a chance to really run it? How's the durability of the Redcat now with all those upgrades?

Now you know how I feel with my stretched XBE build other than I went through a lot more parts to get it right. spent 750 dollars on a carbon body and cage. I do have the cnc diff housing and hub and bearing carriers as well. I would love to have a cnc chassis but to do this build it had to be built by me. I'm very happy with the parts from 7075rc. I did make my own motor mounting system, shock system, and canter support system from carbon. It took so long to make that I did end up buying a Losi 5ive along the way.
You have a great build and I enjoyed reading and looking at the detail in the pictures Thank you.

with all those upgrades, i guess it's not a RedCat anymore, Really.. parts do not break at all unless you throw it down the 3rd floor, very tough truck, it came out lighter than the stock (the 7075RC chassis helped a lot).

note that the stock diff gear housing used to break a lot due to stress applied from the trenchers and chassis flexing. (that's when I decided to go all out and get a non flex chassis with 7075 gear housing) It's a must on every car.

Although, it lacks that "Screaming power" that I was expecting (it's the stock engine with some upgrades), the only thing I don't like is the screws that tend to come out due to high vibration. and it's killing me.

the rear left CVD screws went missing while driving a week ago, waiting for the rebuild kit.
Too much of red loctite is never enough.

the lightened flywheel helps in the responsiveness, I got a bit of Torque on the acceleration and a bit of top speed because of the 8k spring

definitely better than the stock by far, a bit of torque and a bit of Top end speed cause of the upgrades; but you know, it lacks that 50CC BZM power

I tend to install a 40CC soon. I want my truck to scream. If I wanna invest 700$+ on an engine, better be Big Bore

No, I do not have a video of it, I will try and upload one as soon as fix the missing screw and rod on the CVD. (it's undrivable)

if you do know how to AutoCad, you can send the file to Doug (7075Rc), Im sure he can help you CNC your chassis out of Aluminum.

also, if I were you, Id get a big Piece of Paper and draw on it via a pencil the exact length and thickness of the chassis that you want, with the exact places of the screws. you know, just a detalied sketch of the new extended chassis you want and then send it to Doug. he's a great man and im sure he wont have any problem mashining one for you.

he has worked on XBE before and has a very good experience with it. (he's assembling a new 7075 XBE at the moment). might wanna give him a call or drop him an email.

Thats to bad about the parts missing. I use JNJ hobbies for my parts for recat. always the best price and shipping.
