Hi Guys. I am looking for a 5th scale buggy/baja. Here in New Zealand we do not have a lot of choice regarding different makes and when we do they are expensive. I get most of my bits from the US. On our Trademe, like EBay there is a FG Leopard for sale. I looks OK. Wondering what you guys think? Is the Leopard still in production? Can I get parts? How dose it compare to say a Rampage xb. This one is 2 wheel drive but thinking about build. I have a Rampage xt which seems to break every time I take it out. Your comments would be appreciated.

Cost is approx 500usd. 300 GBP. 360EUR

Well guys I didn't feel comfortable buying the fg. Something about the age and parts made me feel uncomfortable...so I brought a used mcb v4 rr comp. Will post some pictures when my new baby arrives and what it has on board. The motor is a rcmk 300f with a nice pipe. Looking forward to my new ride.

not good:p

FG brought out the leopard to race .....its really an extended Marder,

where parts are plentiful and cheap......i have several MCD's 4 wheel drives

parts are very expensive not many suppliers and trouble some diff's/cases

i would not advise jumping it as it ain't as strong as the FG's:rolleyes:

K....

Thanks k but tooooo late. She us here now. Looks good to me, but experience may tell. Wish you had posted last week, could have saved me some money. Not to worry, I am sure I will enjoy the new toy. Lol
