I want to upgrade the steering and throttle servos in the DBXL. Thinking of savox. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I believe I'd have to go with Hitec just for warranty it's 2 years mine I put servo out of a 5ive I had lying around for steering it helped it a lot

I bought some Hitec HS-805MG's based on a YouTube vid... They are only $60 and the dude said they are better then the stock Spectrums. Only down side I have is they won't fit the DGI arms I bought. :( But pretty sure the Savox and the higher dollar Hitecs are the same non fitting spline...

I'm gonna be running them on a 2s lipo too.

Would you go with high torque slower speed (savox 236) or slightly lower torque and faster speed (savox 235) for a steering servo? What model savox would be good for the throttle servo? DBXL.

What's the differnce in speed and tork faster is always better for me because I drive behind the car translation I'm old so faster makes me look like im driving better

Unless you're like really AWESOME, I don't think you could tell the difference in speed, lol. It's about .04 of a second difference to full lock which is about how fast you blink! lol

That's full lock to full lock and you have to factor in what your transmitter can or can't do to
If you plan on Raceing go fast if your just going to Bash you won't be able to tell difference
The stock transmitter is not real fast if you decide to up grade it just make sure if you go spectrum make sure you get the new black transmitter or it will bind up with your receiver

i bought the hs-805mg's and the dgi arms as well was kinda mad lol...servos fit well and work great still fast steering there is no noticeable difference except they do seem to have more torque than the stock spectrum the spectrums that come with it are 1/5 scale servos and the 805 is designed for 1/4 scale according to what it says on the 805 box and can't go wrong with steel gears all in all $60 well spent just don't get the dgi servo arms for the dvxl with the servos when you order lol
