Hi guys I need some help, I'm thinking about buying a km t2000. Must admit I do have some reservations about this car. concerning the arms and hubs!!. can some one share with me the pros and cons. It looks great really like it but i don't want a money PIT. Been there done that. I do own a mcd v4 comp truck, losi 5t, hpi baja 5b, rovan baja 5b and redcat rampage:o

t2000 is its own beast,, some parts will interchange with the Baja,,,, but because its a 4x4,, no one make any aftermarket for it,,, there was another some years ago,, a Kalee, but is no longer made,,, since u seem to have a fair share of 1/5th scales,, a fg onroad car maybe would be a good choice, lots of aftermarket,, and about as reliable as any other 5th scale out there,,, and they come in 2wd and 4wd and ddm and largescalerc sell them and parts ,, the sportline 4wd's look like a blast,, check out hemistorms video about them and the differences between the two on you tube

I have been looking at the fg 4x4 sportline however the mcd xs-5 have my attention!!! If you go to the mcd section in our fourm and look at the mcd rally x4 you will see a video of one running. It might have the fg beat? take a look when you get a chance and tell me what you think:rolleyes:

I like scale, so MCD would never get my vote for that reason alone.
I really hope what was FG gets its Phoenix Moment, as the thought behind them was truly excellent, including the scale.
I'm certain the MCD is capable, and can be made to go off road despite having a supercar body on it, but it just looks wrong, IMhO.

If I did go with the t2000 I have a zenoah g290 28cc ported motor and replace the servos with two 1/4 scale Hi tec servos that I already have. What would be the better choice km ir rovan?

advice

just buy one and enjoy,, no matter what u buy, u will break things, etc,

I'm going to take your advice!! leave k&M alone and go for the Fg. For the price of the t2000 plus arms and hubs= over$1000. I might as well add another $200.00 and get the FG. Thx you so much:rolleyes:
