looking for a good 1/5 scale racer buggy or truck, DBXL OR 5T ?

I assumed kpr was looking at rtr trucks, not kit/build it yourself trucks.

Must admit I never thought of that.
I'd rather build myself so I get to know it and know it's done right.

You are going to need to get servos, transmitter/reciever and engine if you go the 5ive B route.

Yep you do.
Total cost here in Aus comes to about $3000 but a 5T costs $2500 so not a big deal when you consider you can choose exactly what you want from the start instead of doing upgrades along the way.

I just sold a 5t doing 78km with a 38 gear. That’s the smallest you can find with quality in mind. It did have a stock engine with bartalone tunepipe. Cheers

Dear Members,
Any 5th scale owners living in the Sunrise Florida area.
I have found very good areas to bash on well kept grass with jumps and large smooth ashfault lots with no car stops or other obstacles to race. Anyone out there what to race?
