Bought a second hand 5T, which was after detailed review in a pretty bad condition,
Rebuild from ground up, including new body was only option. Changed all bearings, swingarms, diffs, motoroverhaul, new pipe, some cage elements, chassis, ...)
Lots of fun, still a better experience then buying one of the shelve. At least I know the built inside out now ?
Here are some before and after pics. Let me know what you think!

Well, I think it looks amazing! Great job ?? did you paint it with airbrush or rattle cans? Also what engine is in it?
It's awesome having a truck you built, it's great knowing that
It's done right ?

Thanks, its all airbrush. I use different eclipse guns for large and finer work.
The engine is the Dynamite 1075; which is still the original I believe. At least my 5ive Mini has the exact same. Put a titanium samba pipe on it. And TLR shocks.
Any recommendation on the engine?

Yeah I do believe that Dynamite is the stock one. I'd suggest the OBR 34v2, I don't own one but I've heard great things about them from @evssv
Or a esp 34cc, I'd say the OBR cuz I do believe it has more power
This is the OBR 34v2

They also offer a long block version of this motor

And they also have a new signature series version, I don't really know the difference, maybe more power than the original obr 34v2 ? Don't qoute my on that but here it is

You have rc max and alx depending on how much you want to spend. A zenoah g320 is a good upgrade from the cy. More power and very reliable than stock, but not crazy like the others mentioned. One thing to note with any of the Obr, rc max, or alx engines you will end up spending on drivetrain upgrades to cope with the extra power.

I had called OBR when I was looking at buying my engine . I was looking at the 6310 34 v2 reed case and the Signature series 34 v2 reed case .The Sig series was geared towards the track racers. The 6310 has a bit more torque for bashing . The 6310 I bought has the same options as the Sig. series . Ceramic bearings , billet transfer port and I went with the 1107 carb.

OBR does not have a magical coating they just use the coated Zenoah parts. The case is definitely not coated as it is billet and cut by Turtle racing. I race with Dan and he built my 32cc SS motor. It is amazing! I run the 990 carb on mine, and I do race on a track. The piston port motors tend to like the 1107 a tad bit more but either carb will do fine. The pipe is every bit as important as the motor. Top end goes to victory, Bart is a good bottom end pipe but falls off and Olimat is the mid range pipe that never seems to stop pulling as the revs go up.

Your truck looks great!
Any recommendation on the engine?

Who doesn't like more horsepower and speed? I'm driving a 5ive-T 2.0 with a stock Zenoah G320RC and it is starting to make my face hurt from the grin I get when I start it till the time I put it away after cleaning. This is my first gasser and this little 32cc is providing tons of fun.
