I doubt anyone on here would know but worth a try, do you know if SKF oil seals are any good? The free ones that came with my crank case we're a bit warped and I don't wanna take a chance with em, they were Malossi PTFE ones, they are redicullously expensive for what they are, close to 30 USD shipped. So I found SKF makes PTFE oil seals and I know SKF bearings are some of the best (from what I've heard)

Just make sure to put a little grease behind the lip. Gives it a leg up on life as far as lube goes.

What kind of grease?

I use Lucas red tacky stuff but most any quality grease should work fine.

There, about as best as I can take a pic. I think you can see it best in the 2nd and 4th pic. its only in that one place, i think it might get better once i put the crank in it and the seal in the case, i don't have the case right now tho because it's at the machine shop getting those spots machined down for the malossi crank

Ok I'll do that when I get the case back. Anything I should know about putting them in the case? Should I heat the case like you would do for bearings?

Lube them up make sure it goes in straight. Sure there are few ways to get them in.... i.v used a block of wood (redneck hack?) and a hammer??

? Should i use a socket that is big enough to cover the outside diameter and bang it in that way? I can't imagine banging the inner area of the seal is good for it
