this is exactly how i felt about that rovan easy starter bullshit totally crap product. that's why I hate clone stuff, never try and buy it! but heyy, remember i have a spare room!!! you can always move here in the US so y don't have to pay import taxes! just pay y plane ticket, and I got y from there, got a room, some spare pillows, sheets, blankets, only payment I need is some help on me Baja ;):LOL::LOL::LOL::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

You can send the engine to me ,an I will properly dispose of it for you!.....:cool:

The end of the spring may have just popped out where it catches ,mine did ,an I just put it back in ,some times that
curved end will get stressed ,an snap ,Ive fixed them before by heating the end ,an putting a bend back in for repair ,
the springs are easy to fix ,most people will throw them away!

They have to be heated first to make the metal plyable though ,then bend in to shape with 2 pairs of needle nose pliars!

i tried to fix one and i almost got stabbed in the face or i couldnt get the spring back properly LOL. thats another thing i need to learn, fix a ps spring!

That's funny ,my Rovan is the original ,never had an issue ,it is at least half your age ,it only messed up a few weeks ago ,
but sat for a long time an it didnt really break ,the ear on the spring popped out!

They are ok with the stock engine ,but once you start getting into the bigger stuff or high performance & compression
engines ,they will get stressed!

?I believe the are the Rovan stock ones. I bought the when I 1st got my Rovan baja but have never had to use them. They have lasted for a while. But I don't run it as long as much as you run yours.

dougstar i feel your frustration! It totally sucks to go out to wherever you're gonna run your rig and then having to return back home because something cheap or silly breaking. I've never bought any clone rigs or parts in the pas, until I accidentally purchased the DGI wheel extenders for my baja 5b - what a big mistake that's been! I'm still trying to deal with DGI to get a return shipping label for returning it back to them.

I've always believed in buy nice or buy twice!

Well don't buy a Turtle Racing starter. They aren't any better. That's why I'm using a drill starter.
