has any body ever made a set-up table to do your camber and toe adjustments and things like that? i got some plexi, a couple bullit levels and some protractors, but im just sitting here looking at this stuff not knowing were to start. ive seen them, but haven't really takin a good look at one to even get the genaril idea as to were to start. im eventually going to buy the proper set-up table. just not now.. ideas?

there are some 1/5 scale setup pieces. i think Hudy make one and Technokit makes one i think.

maybe you could find one for a 1/10th onroad and upsize it to double.

i see now!! awsome link. i see how it is now. its something that i can definatly make. but what im going to have a hard time with is getting the measurments on there accuratly. it will be worthless unless i get it perfect. i think im just going to stick with the tools that i use for now, and save for the set-up table. i can get it close, but if i make something like that, my rig will never run straight again..:clown:

I've found that set-up tables have their uses, i.e. getting you 'in the ballpark' so-to-speak, but nothing serves me half as well as experience. Track/surface conditions can change, in as little as a few minutes, which can undo a large portion of the meticulous time on a setup. I find I usually have to make multiple adjustments, that end up erasing what I came with from my setup table. This is especially true on a poorly-prepared surface, like a parking lot.
