12v screwdriver..

I was looking at the Bosch 12v screwdriver but cannot fine one where I live..how is the DeWalt 12v screwdriver towards quality and size?any thoughts..lowes has one in stock..or should I just order the Bosch ?

All my battery powered tools are dewalt or snap on. Never had issues with either.

more of a Milwaukee fan myself but those would work.

Get the Milwaukee. If its only rc use, im sure the dewalt (black n decker) is fine. But if you want the best without breaking the bank, its 100% Milwaukee. Festool if money is no concern.

I am using this cheap bastard but the clutch is really nice and on the softest setting it doesn't even strip beadlock screws.I have used it to take apart my Losi a bunch of times and it also has put together my Vekta with no issues.The best part it's 25 bucks so you can toss it when it breaks

I just use one of these just to do most of the work initially start it with an hex key, use this, and torque it down with an hex key

Whatever brand you pick, be sure it has a impact setting. You'll strip far less screws, and break free the stuck ones much easier.

a clutch is also helpful but not necessary because you shouldn't be torquing anything down with the gun anyways

I agree with misterleon but after about 40 screws I said screw this and used the clutch.

Your thinking of a drill with the clutch. Drills are for drilling holes. A small impact gun is made exactly for tightening down small screws/bolts without breaking them. Two completely different tools. The impact will hold screw tips only.

I use the 18V Milwaukee impact because I also use drill bits to drill holes and stuff.
