I got my truck went to charge it and found that it doesn't have the adapters to charge the hand held,i emailed and hopefully i will get the missing pieces. This sucks though wanted to run this monster tomorrow.
 
You should be able to just open it and use standard batteries. I don't know of any transmitters that force you to use a battery pack of some sort.
 
Ok the hand held came with rechargable batteries and they are charged. But i still am missing the adapter that plugs into the hand held to charge it.
 
Just hit up a place and grab one of those fast charge wall units. some will charge a full set of 8 aa's in something like 20mins. they are cheap
 
I agree. The charging system in most Transmitters are for a rechargeable nicad battery - Old technology. Use a good wall charger sold at stores like Wal-Mart. The batteries you have are probably NiMh batteries and need a faster charge then what will come out of the controller. Check the side of the battery for the type of battery.
