:helpsmilie: I am tryiing to track down the above manual with some additional notes in English (I do not speak German).

I downloaded what I could find off of FG and FG Supply sites and the majority of the manuals are German with a little English. Is there anything else floating around that might help my lack of German Fluency?:celebrate:

Please let me know... and thanks!

FG F1 Manual

Thank you all Gents! I appreciate all the guidance. As it turns out after the car arrived (yeah!) I now have an FG F1 PRIOR to the 2008 model. :nono: It has the "older style" Magura Master Cylinders with plungers and not the nifty billet units. I have a few sorting out issues and will lean on the expretise of this and other groups. Thanks for everything!!! Many more questions forth coming!

So, back to drawing board here I suppose.

FG F1 magura disc

no, it's these...I guess they are called Version 1?

I have the pdf but do not know how to do the fancy-schmancy link... thanks. If anyone wants or needs it please le me know. The guy I bought the car from sent it over...

Edit: How much play to expect between the discs and the square hubs? I am seeing about 1/8" of movement in the hub when I hold the disc stationary... noob questions... sorry

In the reply and quick reply box there is a (globe with a chain link) button, if you hold your cursor over that button it will read "Insert link". Hit that button and a box will appear with a " http://" in it. Copy the link from your address browser on top that begins with "http://www." and if you copy the entire link with the http:// in it you will paste it right over the http:// in the box so that it does not start with 2 http's. When you hit the "OK" button after your paste there will be a highlighted area after the link in your message with the same name as the link you pasted. Just start typing what you want to call the link and what you type will appear for the link after you post.

This way if someone else is looking for the link you can give them the link to your post and the PDF will be included.:)

well huh

Thanks for the tutorial...I actaully did get that figured out. The only problem is this was a PDf doc that was e-mailed to me and not one I found posted. I will be happy to share it!!! It is ALL in English. I was SO excited when I received it I could hardly believe it.

The guy I bought my FG F1 from sent it to me...SWEET!

Pop me an e-mail to [email protected] or [email protected] and I will shoot it to you... maybe we can get it posted some where to share the info.

there should be at little play between teh brake disk and the square hub

the older style Magura breaks is in my opinion a much better break system.
many on road racers hav complained about leekages from the calippers and the main pump.
