On a different note, got my diff bushings in. Was a female dog to find this size but here they are.


Running all bushings and no bearings (cuz they explode all the time).
So someone said something about oil impregnating these, How would I do this?

don't worry about it Zed the oil will get where it needs to be. I doubt you have a vacuum pump handy.

Definitely don't so I wont worry about it gunna go on an ordering spree. Got a boost in money and I'm almost there ,so its time to get ordering. Got very little left

i think that was me.
we are wine lovers here, and when we cannot finish a bottle, we use a rubber plug and vacuum pump and extract the air out from the bottle. this way we can store the wine a few more days until it acidifies.

so on this video i took an empty wine bottle, put some general purpose oil in it and closed with the rubber plug (kind of check valve), and use the vacuum pump that comes with it. cheap stuff, we have it in the kitchen and was no special investment needed

you'll see the bubbles come out from the porous bushing and the oil will occupy the voids. 1h process.

You should’ve bought oilite bushes which have oil impregnated in them , but bronze will be fine .

Yes and no, but I doubt in this application it's going to make a major difference.

Looks good see you lost one of the pins I had the same issue had to use and cut a nitro pipe hanger to replace it.
