Lol, nice monster but it does need a good clean now! Are you fitting the Mecatech twin pots; I have these front and rear but am still working with the mounting of the cylinders (I want them together off one servo). Be interested to know what you think of them when you have them fitted. :)

thanks ducky
im kinda intrested in seeing others what have you now?
i will let you know what i think when i have them fitted, some evening soon ill start atacking lol..
they look fair good though don't they,im kinda intrested now to see what kinda braking power they have too..

The Mecatech look the nuts, I'm still templating my radio tray at the moment so my truck is in bits. Once it's all up and running I'll post some pics on here of it. :)

do yeah.
i just got all my car(rear end)back together last monday evening after replacing layshaft bearings, and couldnt believe it when i took it for a run today after it snapped the clutch bell
another spell waiting for parts before i can run it again, lol
some more dismanteling for me lol

how is the rear brakes holding up with all the weight of the alloy?
i guess thats why your going hydr front ... u wont regret it i run hydr front and rear ..

Nice betel.
Oh will it happens some times, you just finish and a bet later you have to take it apart.
IT SUKS.

well thats true jasrx, the weight of the car with all the alloy makes the braking power week to a point, but as u said maybe i wont be dissapointed with the hydros.
thanks for the comments lads/ye av any pics of yer rides??
and yes shiny all the ripping is a pain at times but i suppose thats what makes the hobby all the more fun...
its a learning prosess thats ongoing, and i think its great to be able to order the parts and work on them ourselves, think of labour cost we are saving
(for every negative there is two positives lol )

Mine's still work in progress, but you can see it on my table with and without the body below. :) Also a shot of my Maccy F1.

very nice ducky!
monster truck is nice job, will you do some more upgrading?
nice pipe on it too,is it genuine fg pipe? rare..
nice small car too,its a lambo isnt it,what make, very nice.
i see you hav the hydros on in the front of your mt,i think they would be a bit hard to fit them though due to the mounting of the master cylinder and brake rods, some modifing need s to be done sometimes like moving battery and bits.
i got my new bits for my beetle today new layshaft bearings and engine mount that was bent i replaced it too,its running perfect now,i also got the rain, dirt protection but it is kind of hard to fit, some fun ahead now for the weekend,i have a football field lined up now for the morning now so cant wait, should be fun, been a while....

It's a DDM Dominator top-end tuned pipe, slightly modified and their silencer added (needs it big time). It's the FG Mac F1 (1/5) on the floor.

I have the hydros for the front and rear, you can see both the master cylinders on the truck behind the radio tray, I'm still in the middle of making a new radio tray at the moment and have left the calipers off so they don't get damaged :) I've upgraded a few items, viscous diff, ball drives, etc, just not the wishbones so I have a point of failure in case I crash it. :)

nice job.
i upgraded the diff ages ago on mine and diff mounts, they eat through the plastic ones, and as for wishbones,id rather have the whole thing alloy, week point is prob going to be screws bending only if i crash hard which rarely i do even roll this thing,id prefer have evrything alloy especially wishbones as the plastic are a waste of time they slip apart at the turnbuckles and balljoints, when i am taken the car out for the day then its not going to let me down,i don't want to be repairing stuff sitting at the side of the beach or wherever when im out for the day, im supposed to be driving the thing at that point,so experence has taught me anyway...
less time fixen more time driving

thanks man,glad you like them..
im going to install the cad power engine now next from hobytek germany, serious engine, blueprinted, race ported and polished 4 bolt head im going to treat the beetle to that and mecatek hydro brakes,(engine 750euro,the top of the range engine in the world right now for large scale cars, its based on the all new genoration zenoah g270 4 bolt engine. its what all the pro track racers use,i love the beetle and wouldnt change it for the world..
alloy radio tray next and alloy shocks, have all but must fit,3 spare engines too....
lot of ££ spent on her now lol

Would you not be better off going for a TS billet reed case and have a 4-bolt head, both ported if you wanted maximum power. From what I've read on HBF that seems like the daddy of motors....(balance between HP and torque) :)

are you serious,i didnt know that,i suppose every engine manufacturer will say that there engine is the best lol

where can this engine be located old boy?

Nice jasrx, i finally got my new redesigned dps arms...very nice

dc2 the ts reed induction case is the daddy with a ported top end check DDM. darksoul motors are powerfull too but i don't like billet heads where the cooling shroud can''t be used...they can have overheating probs.
I'd still get an oneills or esp special race ported 4 bolt and wait to get an RN fatpower S in the spring...you'll have more power than you will actually ever be able to use unless you're into speed runs on tarmac.
