Hey guys, I’ve ordered a RC max 50 to go in my 5t a couple weeks ago. Just got an email today from John at Detroit Performance this morning asking me if I wanted the original Tony Green silenced version or non silenced version. I would prefer the silenced but I thought I had read somewhere they were prone to cracking at the baffle.

if you guys with some experience could chime and give some advice it would be appreciated. Hopefully @John Parks will give his opinion.

The newer version silenced pipes are better braced, but can still crack. One way to fix it is to add a p clamp brace around it with a bracket to the chassis. I prefer the silenced just because their sound is awesome.
