Just finished up with my upgrades on my 5t. New Billet front, center & rear diff housings ,billet cups & cv drive cups. Was looking at the 50gt 55 supreme or 65 supreme. Just seeing if anyone has run any of these and there opinion with out killing the rest of the drive train.

I got a 46gt in my tlr 5b and she screams like a raped ape. I mean that bro it’s 🔥

TBH, I feel the engines are WAY overpriced. I mean I can get a new (real car corvette crate engine) for under the price of these, that weigh in at 6 to 10 pound"ish." I mean $4,000.00 and up, for a hyped up weedwhacker engine, compared to chevy 350 crate engine... With just a TAD more horsepower (like 295+) than the weedwhacker engine at 5HP (ok maybe 7hp if your all out spending) (ONLY A TAD, more HP=barely, imperceptible/hardly any difference)

But agree with John Parks (if you go that route) the 50gt.

(y) Yep, I am not taking into consideration of the ACTUAL cost of blank aluminum (that I actually buy for my CNC machine).
Sorry, my bad.

Dude for one those rcmax motors make upwards of 14 hp. The 88 is probably closer to 30. Second, your comparing rcmax pricing, which is a very niche market and they do not produce many engines at all per year, to Chevy who build far more motors in a week then rcmax probably does in 1 year. I really think you haven't got any idea what your talking about

Again, my bad (I think I stated 10hp , granted for the 50gt)
I NEVER STATED the 88.

Anyhow, to each their own.

Glad I have a CNC and excellent 3D printer (was just over at the FG F1 section, at this forum) And certainly makes me want to build another (ground up, build) of an F1.
Since using carbon fiber filament is an easy option (for break points) It is much more feasible for me, rather than spending money (all the time)
So I may go that route again.

Cheers.

First, Not only is your pricing off but your hp # also. Most bigbores are in the $2500 and under. Also, most all of them over 40cc put out much more than 7hp.

Second, it's a hobby. Many hobbies have no set limit on spending. I do firearms as well, if I see a rifle that's $7k and I like it, guess what, I'm buying it. People spend money on what they like to do for themselves. If you want to spend your money on a junk carbureted 350, then by all means do. It's your money, you took time out of your life to make the money to buy it.

That has nothing to do with the convo but OK

I am not going back to re-read what I said. (what is the use).
But pretty DARN sure I stated to the effect, "to each their own".
Perhaps I forgot to add that in.

As far as a 7K rifle, again to each their own. Heck, I am well over $40K (and that is REALLY low) as well not a pissing contest.
In Astrophysics gear (not including, again I care not if others take this as a pissing contest) all the photography gear (certainly near the 100K mark.
And tools, LoL, not even going there. Being business owner, tools galore...............

I think I stated (again, not sure)
Enjoy (as well cheers).

(second thread I will unfollow) as it is not worth my time (I have already wasted to much time/knowledge, here)

If I did not state it,

Enjoy the HOBBY, and
Cheers (to all, WELL most all) LoL

My 35 , was $850 , and my 50gt was $1700 , I'm not investing anymore in these expensive engines , but I sure love my maxinator , and my VEKTA5 and 35 combo should be some fun stuff , but I totally get it , these are expensive toys , as they say , can't take it with you , might as well spend it 👏🙌👋

The 35 is just bare engine. It’s easily over $1300 to $1500 adding pipe, carb and clutch
