I am running stock diff and fluids with the Turtle Racing transmission case without issue. (Castle 800kv on 8s). It handles pretty well.

No diffing out issues? I’m gonna be running 12s.

I've had no issues with 8s. It puts that power straight down to the dirt. I don't know about 12s though

It is a very nice diff case. Very smooth assembly and great tolerances

If you are running 12s you'll need a completely built trans and diff. You won't get by with basically any factory parts

Detroit Performance rc has all you need. I prefer diffs as the handling is slightly better and turning radius. I have one on my 96 and doing well so far.
