Blinking light and I’m all out of ideas to fix it.

Swapped into new servo and receiver. Swapped transmitter from DX5c to DX3. Even tried full left and reverse prior to remote turn on.

Still that blinking light.

Other than new ESC, what am i missing.

Combo is new. A few big jumps yet only 2 packs ran.

I have a solution...a PERFECT solution...but, I'm not entirely sure you're going to like it - replace the HW setup with a Castle MMX-8S ESC & 800kv or 1100kv (depending on gearing) motor. If the people I've known (myself, included) who own/owned an X-MAXX, and replaced the Traxxas electronics, only a few went with HW...the rest installed Castle. On top of that, of the three who initially went with HW, two of them replaced the HW with Castle.

I'm not saying this because I want you to spend more money...I'm saying it because, when it comes to the X-MAXX, as so many have discovered, the Castle MMX (if you want to run 6S) & MMX-8S (if you want to run 8S) are truly the superior electronics for this particular RC vehicle. Whatever you decide, best of luck to you. 👍👍

You’re not wrong. And thank you for your measured response. I think I will jump on a MMX.

For those counting at home I went through 2 sets of HW combos in this truck.

You're welcome. Just so those reading my previous post don't think I'm "anti-Hobbywing", the truth is, I have several HW ESCs...all my boats (with a few exceptions)h ave HW SeaKing ESCs, several of my race vehicles have HW ESCs, and the Kraken RC VESLA.5 C1E SBK I'm almost finished building will be getting a HW Max5 G2 ESC. At the same time, I also have several Castle ESCs, plus several ESCs from a few other brands.

The whole point is to match the ESC to the 'purpose' of whatever vehicle it's going into. In an X-MAXX, for purely street bashing, a HW Max6 (or, better yet, Max5) could make sense...but, who does only street bashing with an X-MAXX (obvious answer is, "no one"). Almost everyone with an X-MAXX runs it "off of the street", and most are trying to launch theirs to the moon (to be clear, I've never tried launching mine to the moon...only to the top of the Strat Hotel in Vegas...lol). And, that's why the Vault MMX-8S makes perfect sense.
