Hi
Sorry if this is a stupid question . I bought an FG Marder 12 years ago but never got around to enjoying the Hobby.

What is the minimum voltage and minimum power (Nimh) we can use for the receiver

Many Thanks

That probably depends of your radio gear. I would think 6.0 volts is the lowest and what I run in my Losi buggy.

My low voltage cut-off is set at 6 volts. Battery pack on full charge for me is a 7.4 volt Lipo.
Most receivers seem to be 9.6 max voltage and go as low as 3.5.
6 volts is low enough for me and that's when it shuts itself down if I don't do it prior to that.

I'm running a 5000 miliamp, 6 volt NiMh pack in my Losi. I have a 7.4 volt lithium pack too, but getting it in and out of the radio gear box, to safely store it, is a pain in the azz. I switched to the nickel metal battery so I can leave it in the car all season without fear of burning the garage down. I actually like the slower speed of the 6 volts for steering too.

make a custom battery tray with a little perspex! ..this is what i did so i can use 2s 7.4 lipo, easy as chips to make using perspec and just a couple of zip ties/velcro straps, getting battery in/out is simple and takes seconds :)
