Does anyone know the costs of the cars or upgrades yet????

How heavy are the new alloy cars ??

It looks like the Cleon s big brother with a 4 WD.

Do they even have the update kits that would make the evo III into a TERMINATOR !!!!!!!!!]
thanks

This price is not reasonable in my opinion. I was 100% on board for buying this, but after I saw the price I said no way.

This thing better be under £2000 if they plan on selling any reasonable amount.

hi well im a mcd fan my self but don't own one for the simple reason that there prices were to high for me and now with the alloy version this is way way to high if they keep on going on at this rate fs racing will have a even bigger market as mcd sales will drop more and considering that fs racing sold 10000 of the buggy version alone in Germany then i think mcd should take an other look at what they are doing its only my opinion
like mcd fs racing came out with there new 1/4 scale truck which i should mention is not a 1/4 scale but just a bit smaller and also has the hinged pin system like the evo 111 from mcd utg it comes standard with metal gears new improved shocks new look wheels like i said hinged pin lower wishbones
and a new hummer body
oh and if you feel like a need to slag this new fs racing car of buy all means go a head but fs is here to stay if you like it or not

after selling 10000 in germany I'd say they've enough cash to do some development and updating and sounds that's what they're doing, mcd have lost a lot of sales...if they sold for less they'd have a higher volume and end up making more...simple economics. MCD seem determined to kill themselves off.

Fg lowered their pricing a little in the face of the extra competition but unlike mcd fg have sold 10's of thousands of cars in Europe, crap just the f1 meetings attract 50+ cars at every race as do the saloon cars so FG I think will maintain their market lead in europe for a while yet.

yes i agree on that as now they are out with there 4wd conversion kit and we know it took a long time for it to come but its here and fg are not planingon giving the market away to and we know also that fg make a very good rc car and have a very good aftersales service

ok this is my opinion everybody has there own prefernces, there are lots of things that attract me to an fg which is why i bought one, lbut like that every model company has there own little attractions to each model they produce, its common sense, there will always be fg followers and mcd and hpi group.

i think regardless of price, mcd do have there own attractions for a certain group of people, they do have some nice ideas which differ to anything else.

i think like i said,im a honda man you have opel fans, audi fans etc etc

same applies for mcd,fg,fs racing etc etc..:)

yeah but when your prices are a scale price of a bugatti veyron you ent gonna sell too many to people who can only afford a Mercedes, I think lauterbacher will sell more high end 4wd than mcd will, europes the biggest market for 1/5 scale and mcd with this model are competing with better and cheaper alternatives...it's gonna be a hard sell though there will be a few that will buy one for sure

sorry lad i know this is not the place to say but lauterbacher are jumping on the bad wagon making parts for the fs racing to anyway i will leave it here as this is going of topic ok buy my BAD

To me I can't understand how they can justify charging $3k-$3.7k for an alloy car. Their model right below that with engine and a painted body can be had for $1.1k. I don't understand their math or reasoning. You then add the fact of where the world economy is right now and I start thinking they are out of their mind!

$3700 for an alloy car that comes with no engine and no pipe it crazy. Then you add the fact that the hydro brakes are extra and I simply can't understand their pricing at all. If I am missing something here please fill me in.

As some of you know I have been waiting for this car for quite some time now. I have known about it for much longer than it was announced.

Hi there

Well guys.
With all due respect to Sinan for 4000 he can take his alloy cars and ......

I think they have been sniffing too much fumes. For real.

Tig has a very valid point . 1300 for a standard car . alloy parts car 4000 ??

Which school of economics did those boys go to.

Companies like that deserve to out of business or loose their majority pull.

Simple STUPIDITY is priceless.

Glad to see other companies take mcd s shares .

They have a 1100 quality car now with some alloy parts its a 4000 car ??

Oh boy Sinan might not care what we write but rest assure it will smack you in the head if you don't wake up and smell the coffee.

Add on of the greatest recessions world has ever faced and keep raising that price MCD Sure.

THe cars do come with all the fancy stuff, LSD's front/rear, alloy plates, everything, I think if you start adding everything up, you won't be far off the price. I know the MCD parts are EXPENSIVE! I have over $1000.00 in spare part's and I still break and don't have the part's to fix.

Easy, look at a Redcat, with some hoppup's it will be a great truck. The suspention travel is like double the MCD. Parts are dirt cheap too. I am happy with my Redcat.

I can afford the redcat being so cheap and then build it up into a alloy monster that price for the alloy mcd monster is just to far out there.

Just my 2 cents

I'm thinkin I may get me a Race Runner for that price.Full aluminum with all steel gears and LSD's...how can you top that?

MCD is taking alot of business away from the aftermarket suppliers....interesting move.I was thinking of milling a batch of aluminum upper and lower control arms but may now wait to see what, if anything, MCD will release and their pricing.

Frank

good deal.

but how much is the monster truck mcd,i can guarantee a lot more money for that machine, and a lot more desirable too i think.....

is there even a mt mcd ultimate yet??
