Some of you might have seen this and some might have missed:clown:

Anyway, just want to share my DIY wheelie bar.

Materials used:
*Old roller blade wheel
*3mm alloy plate
*3mm alloy angle

First I cut, shaped, bent and drilled the main plate. The removed the powder coating using gasket remover.

I cut the alloy angle and bent to suit. Then drilled 3 holes so I can adjust the height.

NICE Monster! It looks great! I don't think anyone has posted a DIY for a wheelie bar like this. I don't see any con to it, you built it yourself out of materials you had, super!

Thanks mate.

Been thinking of buying one but since I've spent all the $$$$ building my fully alloy FG MT can't afford it anymore:no: The good thing about this DIY, it didn't cost me anything as I have all the materials I needed:)

Good job Monster.....love it:):):)

Thanks Super. All I need know is to DIY the lights like what you did:helpsmilie:

It looks really strong, especially with the support to the back of the shock tower! Much stronger than mine!

Thanks Trip...........the back support actually concerns me a little. Just wondering what kind of impact will I have if I had a very bad a$$ landing:shuriken:

I guess only one way to find out...........:clown:

Thanks fellas:2guns:

Mine did this from a 6 foot jump and landed completely square on the wheelie bar... 5 or 6 times... 3 or 4 times landing on the pipe bent the pipe too (I didn't have the body on)

Nope it's still on there, barely! I lost one of the locking collars and I didn't have a spare, so I threw on an old pinion gear from an electric motor. It seems to be holding up.

As long its still in one piece not pieces I reckon it's still good:clown:

nice wheelie bar monster.

and nice work trip

Thanks mate.

Wicked work! I like it. It should protect your pipe nicely.:cool2:

Thanks mate.

Just curious if it will survive some 6ft jumps like Trip's:clown:
