The stock motors that come with the MT's are not powerful. They will get the truck from point a to point b and that's about it. The side exhaust by Redcat isn't better either. Both the motor and side exhaust are cheaply made so switching to this VP fuel may not make a difference in performance. You can check out O'Neal Brothers Racing or Dave's Discount Motors for performance motor and exhaust options.

OMG! I thought I was the only one who thought the same about the slow takeoff on the MT. I heard switching over to a 2speed trans could wake it up. I'll be swapping over to a diff engine later on but i do want to try some VP fuel on the truck and see if any difference.

DDM motors are ready to ship, I like the

ESP Modified Zenoah "G340RC" 34.02cc 4-Bolt Engine - Complete with Clutch - bb128x

For the Redcat MT little different to tune but add a

DDM Dominator® Chrome Pipe for Redcat Rampage Truck/Buggy (TT/MT) & HPI Maverick Blackout - Minor Blemishes -Sale! - fd158.

And it will rock your world. Adding a temp sensor,

Trail Tech TTO Digital Temperature Meter - tt152.

Is best for high temps Got them in all my rigs. I put dune runner gears in my MT My best rig .
