Been super busy with the 9 year old granddaughter living with us but wanted to share the new family members!!!! Got her a stampede and a revo for myself. Been having a blast watching her learning the hobby !!!! She's great at wrecking into me and learning how to maintain and clean her truck. Wanted to show the prefilled for revo ,took 15 seconds to install and a shot of new tires for 5t 2.0. Filter was around 30 bucks with shipping and looks like a quality part. Hope everyone enjoying the hobby and life !!!!

Hi Mick.

Sounds like you and your granddaughter are having a blast!!!

With summer just coming into play the two of you have plenty of time to exercise all of the toys.

Enjoy!!!

Paint and body mounting done !!!! Did it bleed, yes. Is it perfect, no. Do I like it, 100%. Not the most patient painter but more than happy. Going to detail a bit with some silver on door handles and windows. Had to modify mounts and starter/glow plug thingy but all good to go.

Nice choice of body. I have one on my tmaxx. You paint scheme reminds me of my 72' i drove in high school. It was the first car my grandfather taught me to paint.

Thank you much everyone!!!Flh003 , 69 bug my first , baja bugged it. Couldn't weld so made my own rocker panels and riveted them in...... Got a second one, 69 too, bought a welder and the journey began . 32 inch mudders on it, lifted body with 2×4 square steel tube. Raised front spindles, cage, one piece front end, bla bla bla. Never got painted but was a blast. Even put a tilt steering column out of a trans am in it. Miss them days and hopefully will do another one before I die..... Love both of yours!!!!! The vws I paid 4-500 bucks for are now 10 grand and tough to find, maybe one day.......

Well, little update. Went to make a run with new body and throttle servo took a dump......Went with another power hobby servo. Got 2 so have a spare that can work for steering also. Dropped right in, 105 bucks for the 2, delivered in 3 days. Working very good so far. Also changed location for starting/glow plug wiring. Can now leave 2 front mounts on and loosen rears and lift body to start. Got a little frustrated taking body off and on till I found bad servo. Did "strech" throttle spring a bit to remove some tension, thing is overkill .Otherwise still enjoying much !!!!

Funny you mention this. I just replaced the throttle servo in my old 2.5 Revo as well. It worked but was just really slow responding. I know that spring seemed strong to me as well , maybe that is part of the problem. The other part of the problem is mine has been sitting on the shelf for probably around 10 years. I had an extra stock Traxxas servo here so I just used that for now.
Just need some free time to run it .
