I have a Losi 5ivet , bought it used it had some issued but fixed them. Now onto getting the car running the steering and throttle wont go to its full potential. I have seen that you should make it so it doesn't push to the max it can go but, the steering on ground can barely turn left or right and with no friction it doesn't turn all the way left and right. With the throttle it barely extends out. Braking also barely goes in but for now it does the job. Anyone know how to fix this problem?

!st make sure you have a fully charged Good battery installed.

Yes I thought that at first. The battery had a bubble so i replaced it with a Tornado 3800mAh NiMH battery pack which was recommended to me by my local rc shop. However nothing changed.

Check your radio endpoints and if it does have a setting servo speed. Next I would plug a different servo (anything) and make sure it has full throw and power for what ever size servo you use.

I think I've done everything I can on the controller buy increasing the end point and servo speed is fine. It has increased the turning raduis a bit more then before but when i turn the wheel myself (taking the turning axel thing off) it can turn alot more then the servo turns it. From what I think it might just need a new servo which I'm saving up for currently. and I do not have a spare servo lying around that I can try and switch so ill just have to wait to buy a new one.

Power hobby 701mg, can't remember, good servo , anyways available from Power hobby, Amazon, ebay, around 80 bucks plus shipping. Have several in my trucks with no problems. It's a fifth scale servo that should drop in .Remember to hook it up and center it before you install steering arm. Anyone here will walk you through install.

Yup thats the last part that requires cash to fix. Servo ate it. Pretty normal for stock servos. I was trying to get you to try everything that is free first. The only other thing I recommend is to remove the servo arm and move the wheels to see if there is excessive binding.
