Hi guys I have a SS and thinking about doing this conversion for on road,it will be easy enough to switch back to off road:cool2:I just don't like the engine sitting out there exposed:no:Instead of the engine assy....any ideas/opinions??

Old used nitro engine?

Seriously, that's a tough one. Are those made of lexan?

Too bad there isn't a piece that goes over where the engine is that extends to the front, like a hood.

Yea all lexan,and I agree about the hood:(
 
what it needs is a front Lay back Radiator to cover the front shock tower area from Metal to be supportive.
 
i think Jakes done a killer job considering hes 16/17. i radiator with some support would be a killer thing. wonder how much it would cost to fab one up out of some aluminum or sheet metal.
 
the guy that made that used sign board I believe. my friend here was dying to do one and sent him a message through youtube. he has a few cool home made bodies
