Well you should enjoy it , I did and still do.
In fact; it was so much fun I went and got the pavement supermoto as well.
All things considered the learning curve isn't too bad. You might want to start a little easy with a larger size open field. Tight corners require a little more skill but they are doable once you figure it out.
Good luck.

Did yours come with the v2 caliper? I just got mine today but haven't took it apart to see if it has the v2

Well I honestly don't know.
The promoto I picked up at my local hobby shop when they first came out so I am guessing no for that one.
Supermoto I picked up this past summer so maybe?

Guess I did not know there was a difference , now you have me wondering myself.

Yes the v2 caliper has bearings and a metal piston. The original has bushings and plastic piston. The v2 is as good as aftermarket calipers. Just got my mx and it dosent have the v2.
Part # los-2290

Thanks Mick ,
I am guessing it is the older style. Seems to work OK and brakes have not been an issue. Not sure I use them enough. LOL
Reading the description from your link it has a 3D printed metal piston. Interesting.

wrench time this weekend. Got the carbon fiber frame from lhs for 39 bucks. Its over an 1/8th of a pound lighter just doing that. it'll lower the cg. And I have pro line mx pro spec aluminum wheels coming. More gyro effect and even lower cg with those.= more stability. Pics coming soon.

How is Ronnie Mac coming out..are you doing his signature helmet design?
Im just now getting around to start the build. But yes. Ronnie mac coming. Gonna be a fun build. These are so much fun to work on.

I bought my promoto from my local store , one of those things I saw had to have. LOL ; you know how that goes.
Then saw supermoto on sale in a kit so added that to the fleet , big selling point is it is #96 , this has always been my race number.

Both are a blast.
