Awesome! Are you saying you built a custom 1/5 bug, shared it with fearless, and they then put one into production or ordered them???
If that's the case, they actually might be sending you one.... super cool!

Question: are they basically a body swap of their Terminator Baja Truck 320T?

Oh my...

I hope you can buy that stuff separately in a kit to put on a HPI 5b. I could just buy the fearless rig but id prefer a real HPI when I get one.

Yes ,mine was originally a terminator baja truck,36 cc. Got body on sale for 99 bucks from king motor l believe. A bucket load of parts,,,,cage, bumpers, light kit, bunch of stuff pretty much all from fearless rc.Check out bug infestation thread for ideas.

Very cool, is that what they are also using as the base chassis model? If so, Pirates... :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

I think it's a 32cc basic baja with the painted body and stickers. I think king motors is part of the primal rc, fearless rc family .

Looks like fearless doesn't have the body's listed yet....and you were right about King Motors, they are redirected to Fearless now.

I had the Proline version at one time. It didn't last. For these large heavy rigs, the 0.080" lexan will not last. I still have the KM version, but still never used it due to my past experiences with KM bodies. IIRC these bodies were made with PETG instead of lexan. Now if only Woodster or RCP would make these bodies.

Fearless has these VW bodies in stock.

Just checked fearless. Probably 25 years ago saw the proline body in rc cars magazine....They had built like an 80cc with it, may have a O'Neal brother engine. Videos on utube with it running on a beach. That's where I got the idea, combined with the hot wheels car way back when young......

I forgot the name of the guy that ran Craftwerks RC. It has to be roughly 10 years since I seen him post anything on BA, HBF or RCLS. But IIRC, he used Skopod 62 engines, especially on his sand/dune rigs. Also IIRC, he helped develop the Skopod 62 engines for the baja platform.
