That's incredible. The texturing in the gray is crazy.
Thats a great body as well.
The 2019+ tray is really only an "upgrade" IMO if you plan on running the Hydrax setup. The raised servo position on the tray is fine if you're just using the servo for throttle, but under braking it has a LOT of flex compared to the older tray. I found that while ditching the rubber servo isolators did help a bit, the real issue is with that flex in the mount. Dialing in my endpoints to try and eliminate excessive flex did help some, but also so did just dialing back my expectations about having crazy-good brakes. Hoping to get the Hydrax installed in mine soon...
It might. I'm going to try that brace idea first. Its been raining and I've been piled in work so I haven't had free time to fiddle with it besides removing the grommets and trying some stiffer brake line. Its good enough for the driving I do right now. Will this fix your issue? I’ve noticed a little bit of flex on my brakes too, although Ive only had the 2019 radio tray, so I have no frame of reference.
It’s a MCD part, but just posted from this website as it was only one I saw with pictures of it attached.
I'm pretty happy. I don't have a real setup board for it so I kind of wung it as best I could. I need to get a setup board for my 1/5 scale stuff but I have a couple other projects I'm currently investing in so it'll have to wait a while. I think where this is will be good for my general parking lot bashing though so I don't feel pressed.Looks like a good wear pattern , right down to the cord and dead center on the tire. Not too much wrong with that
It was one hard run. I did nothing to save them. They were the softest compound. I ken blocked them for the entire tank. Those are some IMPRESSIVELY worn tires!
Please tell me that was more than one run? Which compound were those?
Do you have any actual before and after tire diameter info , or a new set to compare to? Those puppies are well done! Those are some IMPRESSIVELY worn tires!
