As I am doing a total re-build I fancy some new wheels and tyres. One of my bashing grounds is 50% tarmac. Is there a more road based tyre that fits the beetle rims?

well the rims and tires on my semi are on buggy rims with extenders in the back but they are expensive.
look at slaw's hostile at's. I was playing around with my friend's baja with 4 of those on and they really are durable

You could buy adapters and run the Hostiles like said above.
The ones Trebor has are the same as mine, they are buggy wheels with the extetion on, see link............

Ah,same as! He said he does have a pair custom made ,it must be for another car.Did you get yours from rc-car-on-line super? lovely wheels but a bit pricey!
