See that is so sweet. My only issue with buying the 2wd version is this. What if I LOVE it and still want the 4WD now I'm out 4gs :-) I think its all the alloy that makes me want it. Like a shinny quarter. So pretty..... I'm hypnotized.
I mean look at how sweet that looks. You KNOW you want one.
Pimped out FG Baja 4wd

why don't you just buy the 4wd regular version instead of the competition model. IF you are just going to bash lightly and do regular runs and not race, the regular 4wd version should suit you fine.

large scale alloy is the place i keep putting it in the cart. I have had that thing so close to being bought. Then i see the price and I get scared. I know its stupid huh ;-) funny thing if it was $2999 it might feel better and shipping is $70

Hey DJ,why not do what Large scale said and buy the sportline version and then,if you like 'shiny' upgrade the parts you want to with alloy? There are loads of people selling alloy on fleebay UK and their prices are pretty cheap too!Surley you will get what you want then for half the price.
Just a thought
J.

The alloy parts for the 4WD are very different. The only parts that are the same between the 2WD and 4WD are the rear lower arms and rear uprights.

I build my friends comp version and now have the sportsline version.

Make sure you look at the home page for the coupon codes to get a little money off. You can always come on and chat with us live from the site. Sometimes we are in a good mood and discount the price a bit more. last week we sold a baja 4wd rtr for $1300 shipped.

OH if i buy one it will be from Large Scale Alloy.. I have not seen better prices on the net anywhere. Plus i really appreciate the friendly and helpful advice i have gotten from him on this site.

Was that a finger slip or a Freudian slip? :detective:
:lol::oops::laugh::party-time:

I got one from him for $1300 shipped a few weeks ago :-)

I've flipped and cartwheeled mine several times already with no major problems with the exception of shearing the splines off two sets of servo gears...

So far the only upgrade other than outwears is a Hitec 805MG once I can find one in stock...

Get a RTR for half the price of the COMP!! IMO
