Hey Guys,

Watch out doing any business with Oversize RC in Melborne, Australia!! I placed an order with them on September 7, 2009 for a pair of FS 1/5 scale wheel hubs, which they showed to have in stock! I received confirmation that they had been shipped a couple of days later! They did not tell me how they were being shipped or given a tracking number! After about a month I sent them an email and requested some information about my order, like where in the hell is it! Below is a copy of that request for information concerning my order!

Hey Mates,

I has been about a month since I ordered some parts from you (Order #748143-254742B518EB)! I have also made three inquiries with you about the possible status and whereabouts of my parts! As of today, I have yet to receive the parts or and answer back from you as to the status of my parts! I would really appreciate it if someone there would respond! Thank you!

Richard

Since then I have sent several additional emails inquiring about the whereabouts of my wheel hubs! I have yet to receive any reply from them! So, do not let yourself get caught in the same situation by ordering anything from them! BE FORWARNED!!

Hey Rich,If you trawl this forum you will see many many pissed off customers of Oversize. There must be loads and loads of people out there that they have let down and I have just seen the ones on this forum!
The reputation these guys have is crumbling very fast. I wanted a few parts off them but when I saw the feedback off other customers I decided not to shop with them, not good business at all!
Hope you eventually get what you ordered.
Good luck
J.

if i lived in melb i would go down there and kick the f...in door down:2guns: turn on his computer and grab all the parts you and previous people ordered and send 2 of what they ordered out to everyone.....

im, sure there are a few members that can go knocking on his door for you that live in melbourne....

I sent them another email yesterday with a copy of the post I placed here and on RCU, and received a reply this morning claiming that they were going to finally resend the order! We will see if they really do!

They got me with a FS of ebay.

Hey, I live about 2 km from their shop. Used them a couple of times for over the counter stuff for a nitro buggy of mine. No personal complaints.

I have seen allot of complaints though where stuff has been ordered and they need to send stuff out.

Ill be going there on weekend for some more parts for my buggy and would be happy to pass something along if you like. Let me know. :)

Sperera,

It would be kind of you if you would, at least, ask them if they have the 2 FS 1/5 Scale Front Alloy Hubs #511401 in stock and, if and when are they planning on sending them to me! You can tell them that you read about my lost parts problem from them on Large Scale Forums! If you do get the opportunity to ask them, please let me know what they say and get me a name! Thanks.:)

No worries. I will see them on weekend as planned anyway, due to work and family commitments I cant get there any sooner.

Ill ask and let you know on Sunday or Monday.

Sperera,

Not wanting to bother you, but did you happen to go to Oversize RC shop last weekend like you had mentioned you were? Just curious if you happen to ask them about my hubs and when they were going to be shipping them out! Because, as of today I have not heard anything more from them about it! Thanks.

Richard

I see what you mean, their MCD prices are really out there huh,,, maybe they only sell gold plated&diamond studded mcd stuff?
Sorry about that!
I only buy baja stuff off em coz every other hobby shop round here are dearer than that!!

Rossco..

yeah,I suppose there isnt a lot to choose from out there (or am I wrong?) but if you go to the USA or Europe you can get them cheaper.
J.

Not much choice, but what you do choose costs $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

The UK prices aren't bad but if you want a good deal go to the USA. The prices are unbelievably cheap but then again what I save in cost I loose in customs and handling charges, swings and round-a-bouts really.
