Have you sorted it Baja??? I don't think there is any standard info on the back brake assembly but as far as I know the pads sit either side of the disc & are fixed / adjusted with the 2 No socket hd screws top and bottom. You can make final adjustment on your brake rod. I have had mine in bits & it was fairly straight forward to put back together (on marder but I assume its the same). If you are still scratching your head let us know!

I think you confused him by giving him the front brake pdf and he is trying to put his stock rears together.

Take the brake square and fit it on the lay shaft with the little nub pointed toward the gear plate.
Don't tighten it until everything is fully assembled.
You will need the gear plate loose to install the assembly.
Slip the assembly (Gear plate, with the metal brake pads and the two fiberglass disks sandwiched and alternated between the metal pads. So, metal pad, fiberglass disk, metal pad, fiberglass disk, metal pad.) over the shaft.
Support the gear plate with the three bolts into the motor.
Now push the brake square toward the bearing in the gear plate as tight as you can.
Now you can tighten the square grub to the shaft.
Make sure the grub is on the flat part of the shaft.

If your running a plastic gear plate. I would recommend doing the gear plate mod: https://www.largescaleforums.com/showthread.php?t=1940&highlight=gear+plate+mod
