Do I see here a problem with the state of front uprights?
By FG and Elcon A and B bulkhead, the upper arm slightly inwards.
The arm position of the KPD is just one above the other.
The upper arm is now too long, I see in the picture.
May be I have it wrong?;)

I haven't set the camber yet, non of it is set up yet but i assure you they do fit =]

looks good craig...if you want a custom nitrous kit give Ian oddie a call, he built a 10hp NOS wet kit engine with NOS and fuel soleniod for Pete at pro5thscale

That engine that Pete had is now my engine Ian Oddie only made two of those engines and, the first one he made blew up on the dyno because of running to much nitro threw the motor. I was told from pete that he will no longer be making the motor:no:. It won't hurt to try!

that will need new bulkhead to fit them,or else the upper arms machined down a bit to suit balljoint,how can that be camber adjusted the way that is,oh well im sure it isnt a big deal to sort when thought over.

maybe if you use shorter smaller balljoints maybe.

anyway keep up the good work.

Even with arm "drop" his camber has no adjustment range, it should not be as extreme as it is shown in the pics, no one runs positive camber unless you are driving an older russian kamaz 8x8 truck
 
why don't you use a m6 male rod end sold on ebay, that would give you thread from the joint so you might have enough to get your camber you require, you could put the lock nut on the inside aswell

am sure it must be the pics, the camber really isnt as bad on the truck as the pics makes it out to be:no:

Once built up and the wheels are on and iv had a tinker with it ill get some better pics up :)

Sorry guys but progress has been slow, i have never made a tuber before, nor have i ever welded. this is my first ever attempt at a sand rail cage, im making a mock up from aluminium epoxyed together before i start the real dead steel cage. so far here is what i have.

im new to the site so don't know much as yet..............smile
just 2 points.....1 you need to cover your engine plug hole up before you get something down without knowing ................and 2 .....take a look at the roll cage i made ...its posted in marder.........i would not advise using alloy for your roll cage as it will just collapse ...i made mine from 10mm solid steel round bar (en34b) then tig welded it (braze is to weak a joint and electric is a no no) then i polished it by hand using to finish 800 grit wet and dry paper and t-cut....then i took it for nickle plating (much better than chrome on some thing like this as it wont flake like chrome)

HHi bud the alloy was only a mock up and to be honest iv failed miserably and am now on the look out for some one who can make me one HINT HINT ;););)

Any who the plug cover yeah i know about its got one in there now just not at the time of pictures =]
