I have just had my rr evo3 for 3 weeks now. My rally has been put away for winter storage and most bits have been swapped across to get my evo up an running.
Engine zen26 in place with a standard fg box/pipe, gearing needs playing with as I am to use to onroad ratios.

Just want people thoughts or experience with decent pipes that work on a rr evo 3.

I have heard of jetpro v2 pipe but don't know much about it. Seems cheaper than the samba 3 and 4 though. Ive got a samba on my rally but use a 30.5cc engine with reed valve and 813 carb and it goes very well. Shame it does not fit the evo. I am not keen on the pipes that come out the back like a tail but more of a side fit is my preference.

What pipe do you have and how well does it fit and perform?

Ticky, I can thoroughly recommend the new Samba Four Power Ultimate pipe.

I have tested one in my Evo 3 and it takes the performance to another level compared to the original Samba Race Runner pipe. There is so much more low and mid range power/torque and the top end is good as well. It means you can gear up the car for more top speed without any loss of low/mid range acceleration.

I have tried it in my Rally car today and it is better than the Samba F1 MCD I have been using for racing and bashing. The performance when used with a stock 26cc engine was better than when I raced the car with Oddified and Alro Racing tuned engines and the F1 MCD pipe.

There are no clearance issues with the pipe in the Race Runner and the only thing I would have preferred is the exhaust exit being downwards and not out the side of the bodyshell.

The RN Bullit is an excellent pipe but needs part of the bodyshell cut/removed leaving the pipe exposed. There are numerous versions of the Victory pipe, just make sure you get the correct one for your engine.

The new Samba Ultimate pipe works equally well with stock and tuned engines.

That's good news. :)
I use to have the F1 pipe on my rally until it got damaged during a race. At that time the F1 pipe was not available anywhere and I ended up getting a topsa samba pipe which never had the same top end performance.
I better start saving.

Full set of steel gears arrived today from Troy. Thanks again for providing the link and info for them. They fit fine with no mesh issues and very smooth, just need to test them on Sunday.

You should have a pm soon in regards to alro engine.
