:clown::clown: Sometimes it's just the right choices. Since I've been in LS for a good 5 years now I've realized it's better to just spend the $$$ once and get something really good instead of trying to get to that point with something else. I have friends who spent loads on some of their buggies and the costs have far exceeded the cost of a good comp buggy.

These air brakes give you a full 360 degree braking and they come with the uprights. When I was ordering the Cleon I thought I might as well get those brakes otherwise it wouldn't feel right. :clown::clown:

Good choice Selwa,how do they create the air needed to apply the brakes?

A very simple design. Basically think about a small bicycle pump, same idea. The cylinder has a shaft that moves with the servo. A small hole on the bottom lets air in and the shaft pushes the air through the hoses. The air then goes into a rubber membrane which inflates and pushes against a small steel disc, this disc pushes against the epoxy disc and another steel disc which allows for the 360 degree braking. Hope this makes sense!!

Since they come with the specail uprights ($100 right there) the price is pretty good compared to some hydro brakes. Best of all no bleeding. If the line tears, just cut and plug back in. No mess and down time.
