Hi Paul,

NO, don't purchase from them. Ever. Do a search on them here. Awful, they don't ship things for months. If you want to get some good hopups (Smartech, Duratrax, etc), there is. If you aren't sure if it will fit, post up what you are looking at and one of us clone guys can help you out.

What color is your spark plug? You could be running rich, but there will always be some coming out of your exhaust.

thanks for the info,the threads are much appreciated, the web sites will be very helpful, the teethin problems were things like a leakin petrol tank and leakin shocks managed to sort most of them just waitin on two rear shocks from nitrotek as the car was still under warrenty. i'm thinkin of gettin a tuned pipe and replacein the air filter as i hear the stock one isn't up to much, is there anything else anybody can suggest to improve performance, not really got that much to spend,
cheers. oh and the spark plug is an NGK and in blue letters it says CMR 7H
cheers.

don't get a K&N type filter as they are no good for off road & will eventually kill your engine. The NGK plug is pretty std & you will find most on here use that plug. You could add front cable brakes for not much money. Not sure which pipe will fit the SQ best??

+1 on the k&n filters bud i fitted a new 30cc kit on mine end of 08 and killed it around aug 09 i run a standard fg off road filter now :cool2:

I had the tq as well. most of the fg pipes fit. the mt5 v2 though doesn't bolt up to the front tower as it has the buggy tower and you'd have to make a mount. I had wished I bought the monster beetle pipe after I had ordered the mt5 v2. the vrc, jet pro etc for the marder and mt will fit too. and get an hpi baja filter and outerwears. great combo for these things

hi, here are some pics of my SQ truck on the kitchen table, the wife isn't to happy but hey these things have to be done lol. I think i'm gonna go with the jet pro pipe for the fg marder from http://www.davesmotors.com and get an outwearer for the filter,wot do u think?
also gonna invest in some side guards
cheers for the info.:lol::chinese:

that pipe should make it fun. get the fg aluminum spur carrier as well for the large gear. I believe it's the 60mm one. the plastic one strips out with power. eventually you will want to replace those shocks. they leak like sieves... tell the wife it's to keep the grunge off the table... I also put down shop towels, thick terry cloth ones... keeps the gunk contained and stops screws from bouncing...

look in the fg monster truck section at the tips and tricks section... do the screen mod right away. it'll save your flywheel. also the dif protection with silicone helps a ton... rocks get under the dif case and chew it up. sealing the dif tip is good too. all cheap easy mods there. have a look and do them. you'll have a lot more fun...

yeah theres a few spots in wigan we go to a place called lilford woods plenty hills and jumps its good fun my mate has still got a nitro yet hes just waiting for some cash so he can upgrade to 2 stroke. cheers for the info pipeous ill do them mods and i know wot u mean about the shocks there already startin to leak, load of krap.
