I have been in contact with Bernd at Lauterbacher as I am considering the purchase of one of their F1 gals; can any one share some comments or ??

The chassis is sold as assembled without radios gear and complete with juice brakes. I like the way the chassis looks and yet can find very little information on them.

Does anyone here have one and if so can we chat?

FYI I have no interest in sactioned racing but rather pleasure.

Thank you

To tell you the truth, I've never seen a Lauterbaucher F1. All I've seen were the FG's and they are very nice cars.

I know that the FG have allot of part support from most hobby shops. That is what i usually take into consideration before i purchase a model.

good luck,

Chris

Hi Chris and thank you

Support = a great thing I understand this very well.

Being as they are in Europe FedEx or DHL would have to become even more of my friend if this were to be the direction that I take.

I agree that the pictures of the 09 FG Comp look stunning; I am hoping that someone can share some personal experiences with both and removing the access for parts from the equation.

All the best

i can only repeat what i have read. the owners of this car LOVE THEM. very nicely done, and handles great. costy though. for your use, considering your not competeing, why not buy the Sportsline, and upgrade it with Hydrolic brakes, and parts as you see fit. this woud chop the cost of admission in half out of the gate. unless you just have to have the higher quality kit, which i can fully understand and support.

but fwiw, i have hear all good things on the Lauterbacher F1s.

"Great" commments; thank you

The Sportsline is wonderful gal however I am considering one for the pleasure of exercising her as well as the static display of the exposed chassis as such extreme details would mean a great deal to me. I like both the FG and Lauterbacher however I think that the Lauterbacher is more trick to look at; subjectively speaking.

I still wish/wait for some real experiences to be shared.

Takes care
