Hey Folks,

Just got my shell back, so mounted it up last night to see how it looked - i must say i "LOVE IT" !!!!!!! :celebrate:

But the light doesn't help - tis bright red not pinky red, minxy HATES pink :yuk:

Yep the "53" stands for "Herbie" as im a vdub nut :w00t:

Going to get a bug shell for it too :laugh:

I was thinking the colors, stp, and the 53 was a famous race car driver... Richard Petty? my bad he was 43

Thank you Minxy. My girl gets mad cause she feels I spend to much time on my hobby. I showed her this thread and said look girls are into it just as much as us guys. I asked her if I bought her one would she use it. maybe ill buy the v3 rtr for her knowing she won't use it as much so ill have a 3rd lol.
 
Minx are those stickers or are they painted on. Looking at it further they look painted. In any case it looks great!

Looks good.

Are the stock bodies any better than when they first came out? I spent a bunch of time painting one up just to have it shatter. I hope Redcat have adressed the body issue by now though. Just a warning, I'd hate your next thread to be about how crappy their bodies are, and what a waset of money that paint job was.

Nop its all paint nooooooooo stickers :nono:

I've put fibreglass tape and shoe goo along the entire inside to help the shell survive my bad driving - guess only time will tell if it'll hold up :ninja:

I ran the first tank through it yesterday :clap:

the engines loosened off abit as now its crawling along on its own, bogging then cutting out :no:

I'VE PUT A NEW PLUG IN BUT IS IT RICH ON THE LSN ??? :helpsmilie:

Have a read through the sticky in the engine section. Its an idiots guide to tuning so I found it verrrrry useful :lol::lol::clown::clown:
