i think they go on yea shocks to stop them over exstending???????????????????
Yeah,had another look and I think your right. I have said this to Jacko and we suggested the blue bands that wrap parcels.There is a thread on here about this.

well here goes:
The new Suspension Limiting Killer Kables from Killer RC will dramatically prolong the life of your HPI Baja's shocks and drive shafts. Without limiting cables the Baja's suspension will over-extend, causing the shock pistons to bottom out, which damages the piston, seals, and rod end. no way i been getting these problems when i,ve been jumping my baja, sometiimes the piston will snap the e clip that keeps it inplace,

check the out the hpi forum those guys will help you out ive seen a lot of guys using these and they seam to be happy campers

I have the Killer shock limiting straps on my 5T and they work great! I highly recommend them to anybody that is going to jump their Baja! It will save them a lot of money replacing their shocks all of the time!

The Killer Kables aren't there for jumping. They are there for landing upside down! Without them, if your car lands hard upside down on any wheel(s) all the weight of the car is going to be on the shocker shafts, and they are almost definitely going to get damaged. With limiter straps, they take the force, not your shocks. A very cheap insurance IMO.
As for their langths, they are made to give maximum travel while still doing the job. Ideally I should run with allow towers, (as they suggest) in order to ensure there is no flex in an accident...

I made some the other day out of some:
Cable with a bit of solder then wrapped in heat-shrink.
These are on my HPI but if they hold up i'll do some for my FM.
looking good them jacko, were did you get the cable and the eyelets?
Brilliant Ian! are you sure you made them or did you nick them from me shed? Unlike you to come up with anything useful.

They're basiclly an old charging wire stripped about an inch down either side, bent over and looped together, then soldered, don't forget to put the heat-shrink on first though.
They are not eyelets just a couple of washers.
Not sure how/if they will hold up but its worth 1/2 hour to find out, if not i'll prob get the Killer ones. :cool2:
