before i got the fg it was voi armani fcuk levis now its any thing cheap it frees up spends for my fg habit which is worse than a crack habit and more addictive :2guns:

I only have one pair , they are 661. Nice but hardly ever wear jeans !!
When do we find out what this is all about then Voo ????:clown:

What the survey in aid of Voo??

Ah Ha, thats the question I was waiting for.
The survey was to see who wears 'COPY' jeans. Levi was the original work wear and I was just seeing who was slating 'Clone' Baja's. There was a bit of a mixed answer. I wear good quality jeans and also shite(clone) ones as do people bash 'brand name cars and clones. So at the end of the day we all in some way use 'FAKE' stuff! The jeans survey was just an inkling of what we use day by day, like Kelloggs CoCo pops and Crunchy nut corn flakes. My kids wont touch a 'clone' of either but wont eat the brand name of 'Shredded wheat'!
Just something I was looking into.Whats good for some might not be for others.
Thanks for the input.
J.

I find the whole clone slagging thing a bit comical really.

Bloke with HPI - top build quality & components.
Bloke with KM - negligible difference in quality & £500 in his arse pocket

Its a no brainer IMO.

Clones are an everyday part of life, TV's, vacuum cleaners, cars, telephones etc etc. They have all been copied and improved upon. It called competition and it keeps the 'originators' on their toes. HPI should raise their game and improve the next gen beyond what the competition can offer. If they cant do this then they will face hard times in the future.

Spot on answer Andy,if we had all seen this as you say there wouldnt be much bickering.
We ALL use 'clones' in our life,if we didnt we would all be the 'same' Versatility is what we do and what makes us original. So lets make our own decisions and respect what others but and use. Some cant afford the hefty price tag on the big manufacturers but still want to ride with the fifth scale and any other sport/hobby.

i was wondering were this was going, but you are spot on, shops like aldi make clones of a lot of big brand foods and at almost half the price ,its everywere people like a good deal. the big firms need to bring there price,s down to earth cos the clones are taking over.

levis for work-wear? Nah, my Livis sitn the shelf and look shiny. £3 Tesco value jeans for work, at that price it's cheaper to chuck em than wash em.

there's a lot to be said for clones, their price has got a lot of newbs into large scale.

youre spot on i was guilty off turning my nose up at the clones but now youve put it like that i take it all back thank you youve just saved me (wifey)£500 off my next car a baja clone as i wanted the ss but now ill just get one of the clones next year hopefully if all goes well
