OK OK i just bought them from his ebay account same price. the few times i did run my MT i got no grip so i'll mount these when they come. What larger grub screws should i use?

Really you can pick what size you want as long as its a bit oversized.
Make sure you are using very good taps for the aluminum. Cheap taps mess up aluminum. Remember you have other sides if you mess up. :laugh:
You will be astonished at the grip you get compared to the FG's.

Change to an M6 if you can find a tap.

Well they came today after the Snow messed up my friday delivery. Just gotta find out how to tap the adapters for a M6 Grub Screw. Tell you one thing I like the redcat tires alot just looking @ them. And they feel better too.

Would i be able to paint them Black? I'd rather them be black instead of Silver with a purple nut.

You can anodize them, but I would not paint them. Another solution would be to get Darksoul enclosed nuts to cover them up completely.

How can i anodize them?......they make them for the rampage? I only see them for the 5B/5T

What about the DYNAMITE Hard anodized 23mm Capped nuts? Will those work? Also what about proline 23mm wrench will it fit in the rim?

Do what I'm going to do. Strip them with Easy Off and buff them shinny with Mothers aluminum polish.

Shoot I don't know I use my socket wrench to do it. The HPI wrench wont work. The nuts are the same as the HPI Bajas.

don't have a hpi wrench sold my fg to hpi hubs and besides that hpi wrench is trash

QUESTION:

If you are running stock FG Monster tires with the stock grub nuts, do you need to put "blue" lock tight to secure the nuts a little better??

Have you ever had the wheels come off if you don't use the lock tight on the grub nuts?
