Anyone out there can send me a pic of the top front of the Baja,just putting mine together but need a kick-up pic.

Heres the chassis damage,cant see much because the flash is reflecting.but it was allot worse.

I know mate,there is a bloke on fleebay thats got one for $45.00 but the shipping costs are a bit nuts.

thats the weak point on baja chassis, i had a bit of hard front end landing at otterspool a while ago and broke the plastic bulkhead got a new 1 came to fit it and the holes would,nt line up had to bend the the front of the chassis back down about 5mm, james have you got a new chassis , rc modelz have got them in only in purple tho i think.
 
You would be as well cutting a piece of 3mm ally and bending it to suit the crank angle so that it covers to full cranked section with the same length fixed to the flat section of the chassis. This will give it added strength where you need it and wouldnt compromise the weight or balance to much. If you clamp it to your chassis then drill your fixing holes you will be able to keep your fixing holes dead size to prevent movement.

Just emailed him on ebay for the cost of posting, $20 so not that bad, total cost $65 which is around £43 delivered, said it takes between 10 to 20 days.
