I've never seen a Baja like this before - it's insane!

HPI Baja 5T beetle

I know they've had "superchargers" for nitro systems that been more of a gimmick than anything but does the NOS system on Baja's really work?

The whole point of this was to make it completely over the top and weighing in at close to 60lbs a few pieces were left stock to reduce weight. Also i don't expect to get what i paid for it, and will more than likely part it out.
I got nailed with a $30,000 bill to replace my septic which is the only reason im selling it, that and i just had major back surgery.
I used 2 NOS tanks to balance the weight on the car or it would be extremely hard to control as there is a significant amount of weight very high on the car.
2-strokes love nitrous and set up as it is at a 3hp shot it will be incredibly fast although im sure hard to control.

HOLY SMOKES!!! That is one awesome and way over my "Wifes" allowed hobby expence.... You have to be single or REALLY good at something for your wife to allow $9000 on one R/C?

Please, let my mound last until city sewer and water comes through. I did already have to get a new well though. Ouch!:cursing:
 
This thing is insane, I'd love to see it run - even if for only 5minutes!

Not only that its nearly Twice the size of a stock Baja. Its Wide its Tall Its long and its powerfull estimates of 10-12.5hp with the mild port job running on juice.
Skopod runs one of these motors on a goped running nitrometh and it does well over 60mph with a 180lb rider so figure 1/3rd the weight.... YEAH SCARY lol
Im kicking myself that i have to sell it. I parted out another one of my bajas last night and am selling that off if i get enough for it I just might be able to squeeze by and keep it. I so want to run this thing!!!!
Its funny how everyone thinks it will blow up but in reality the GO Juice actually keeps running temps lower. Should be interesting!
 
That is absolutely gorgeous! How many hours build time went into it? Did you build it in stages or did you collect all the parts first?
try to keep it and put a vid up of it running,or before you do break it for parts ,run it before hand.

there was somone on here the other day writing crap with hidden links in write up for non related stuff ear rings hand bags ect they have removed him now he was on a couple of other posts as well

Thanks, It took me about 4 months total, I had enough different parts to build this thing twice and tried several different combinations b4 i got it to look the way i wanted. Its hard to describe this thing if you cant see it in person. Its so much bigger than a stock 5t. I wanted to use billet rims and standard size tires on it but it just didnt look right so i went with the imex J-7 monster truck tries. It was alot of fun building this thing. The hardest part of this whole build was getting the NOS system set up properly, but eventually Kent from Killer Rc came up with a solution for me which actually works quite well. I spent hours and hours with a dremel tool grinding parts to make them fit the way i wanted.
You think this thing is cool wait til you see the next creation i came up with... lets just say looking for around 140mph! :omg: Pics coming in about a month
