My KM stalled last Sunday at the Deeside Bash and wouldn't start, thought i'd blown a piston but this is what i've found today when i took the motor out. :(:nono:

Anyone had this done to them before and any idea on pos cause. :helpsmilie:

Should this be happening or should i contact rcmodelz for a re-placement ?? :helpsmilie:
 
looks like a badly made head mate, i,d contact them think there rrp on the 29cc head is only 20quid , that won,t bankrupt him.
 
yea there site is playing up, they were waiting on a big shipment of k,m parts and cars,the new cars are showing up on there site maybe there listing the new parts.
 
yeah mate thats how my 29cc ddm died when it hit wagons real car it lifted it up about four inches we had to lift his car up to get my marder out it went right under worked fine after i sorted plug out but couple of weeks later it had enough took it apart thats when i saw the break
 
Thats a pisser mate.
I think Pab is right tho, RCmodelz should sort you a new one out. After all, they are not that expensive and its not really that old is it.
Keep us posted on what they say mate :hammer:
 
Is it the KM motor with the built on clutch casing? If not then for get the replacement and just buy a head kit. If it is, upgrade the whole motor. If it was from a big landing you would know which one. If not then its a bad casted head. If you buy parts from DDM you can get a 29cc head and piston for $19.00US
