I put the same head kit on mine. Using the stock 668 carb. I had to open the idle screw about a full turn clockwise to get the motor to start the first time. Also it is easy to flood these engines. Remove plug and inspect. Check for a wet, fuel soaked tip.

I had trouble with mine getting flooded as it was new and the engine was still breaking in. Check the spark plug and see if it is wet with fuel
