Do you still use your nitros?

i thought the same thing and tried to keep my nitros. by the end of my first tank i was practicly giving my nitros away. i tried to get back into racing 1/8 scale but it just wasnt fun anymore and i would rather go bash a 5th scale then race. sell it!!!

how does the rampage tt compare to the baja 5b ss

ya not really comparable i guess. 4wd verse 2wd. the quality of your hpi is slightly better, but that didnt stop me from ditching my hpi's for a redcat. i liked them so much i now have 3 ramps. the 4wd is a blast and i don't have any quality issues with any of mine. its best to try and sell your...

    I Keep throwing driveshafts

the conical drive shaft springs seem to work the best. the fuel line gets worn down allowing the drive shaft to get "spit out" under suspension flex.

What receiver battery are you using?

i run a few diffrent packs. all 3 of my 1500mah's get about 2 full tanks(a little more then an hour). my 3700 is old and abused. i get about 1.5 tanks without it being peak charged(i'll charge it let it sit in my pit box for weeks) my other ddm 5000 is new. i used it for one charge and i got...

    Dilemma...FG or Redcat???

i am more partial to the redcat. parts are breeze to get and really inexpensive. the fg is built better, but you will pay and wait(parts). diff and gear problems are a thing of the past for the redcat. the shocks can be upgraded for $60 if needed. any 5th scale will have some sort of issue out...

    MCD tyres made easy!

no insert failure? not even after cutting them? im glad that trick worked for ya. never really messed with those types of rims/tires. but i have to say that with out glueing the inserts back together they run the risk of "cramming". i have had plenty of inserts explode. even ripping the tire off...

    1/4 scale MT!!!

i wonder how good they are.. it would be cool to just have one for the grass feild or the shelf. i bet they are heavy and hit the ground pretty hard.

    Looks of buggies

i like the low streamline look on anything. it just looks faster..lol.. but i peronelly don't like buggies. i never did. even back in the day i would only race staduim trucks. indoor carpet racers. then it was nitro stadium and i was all over the latest fad of the truggy back then as well. i...

    krypto's latest vids.jump compilation/street racing

yam man. the kid at the hobby shop was tellin me they run all kinds of gyros for airplanes and stuff. he told me the same thing. they work the same as the d-box.(the d-box "is" a gyro)

    krypto's latest vids.jump compilation/street racing

the d-box is great! wish i could get one, but i like in between. if i set it up more for drifting(diffs, tire inserts, suspension) it makes it harder to drive normal and i go thru tires like crazy as it is..
